A DOEZN WANDERS (2020)

ALBUM OF EXPERIMENTAL SONGS

so this challenge i set myself one time was to create a song for every month of 2020 (who knew what a year it would be!).. it all began in barcelona, it was the 7th of january which happened to be the birthday of the person i’d just fallen in love with / i wrote a song for her, my head filled with contact improvisation and my lungs clear thanks to the steam from the hostel shower. and then, all year, throughout covid lockdown, i made one song a month

the rule i had set was that i couldn’t use any musical instruments, either real or digital (so everything’s done by voice) and once that month was over, no going back to edit the song / it certainly produced some wild results
