INFINITY MIRROR (2021)
BACKYARD ‘ADVENTUREBITION’
BACKYARD ‘ADVENTUREBITION’
this was a celebration of the incredible soon-to-be-demolished mansion home I lived in for some time / in one of the windows of hope during the pandemic period, where it was possible to gather in a large group, I placed artworks in a trail throughout the backyard, in an adventure-exhibition / the art was all on found objects, the pieces were all exploring the ways that how others see us influences how we see ourself / there were interactive moments such as scratching paint off an artwork with a coin, lighting a stick of incense, climbing into a blanket fort to view the art / during the evening, also bands and revelry, an upbeat colourful explosion of hope - images below <3

Perpetual existential.. acrylic, and texta on wood, cardboard, mirror and UV light.
this painting comes with a poem:
EXISTENTIALISM SONNET
Your morning walk is easeful. To add grind,
invent a boulder which you need to push.
If you fear the stillness of peace of mind,
imagine an internal rock ambush.
You’re not just limited to one boulder.
Invite a thousand as, besieged, you rave.
Try lean on them as if a friend’s shoulder
Outstretch them, now u see yr way. They pave.
Each day, bolder, you can eat a mango.
Each day you can nap. Nap more! Nap in bulk!
Each day, cozy, you can hug and tango.
Each day is a wonderful day to sulk.
Each day is a trek, through nature we hike,
free to make up all the boulders we like.
